Alisha wondered briefly while he was holding the door, it wasn't as though she was breakable, was she? Shrugging slightly, she put on her seat belt, and stared straight ahead, refusing to look out of the window.
The car shot off, and so did she. Well, nearly. She turned to look at him, a sharp remark ready on her tongue, but stopped. He looked more like a little kid playing his favourite video game. She shook her head, and let him gush over scaring other passengers. After a while, she started laughing too, and asked, "So this is what you do when you're bored?"

Alec smirked and let go of the door handle, he rested his arm on the arm rest. He flicked the hair from his face as he slowed down dramatically, he turned left onto a small gravelly parking lot, and turned left again, ahead was a small walk way. He turned his steering wheel right and backed out, parking. He flipped it into park and decided to answer her question as he got out. He took his sun glasses from the side or middle tray between the seats. He put them on and drew in a deep breathe, dramatically. He chuckled after doing so.
"Speed...in cars....f-for fun?" [/b] His laughter echoed off some of the rocks. His back arching forward as he continued in laughter. He set his hands on his knees, still laughing. He let out a sigh before his laughter stopped, he looked at her and chuckled again."Oh no. Fun is watching people's faces in pure horror that's for sure. But it wouldn't be a car that was going so fast. Neither would the car be the one that witnessed their last breathe."[His voice always sounding as if he was from Britain. It seemed to make him more amusing to most. With that he took forth running, zooming around the car, and stopped once he was on the path. He turned with a small grin, of course he meant no harm, if he had, she'd have already been gone. Plus he sensed she wasn't normal at all. She didn't seem like it. He lifted his glasses up and rested them on his head. For a split second it seemed concern was showing, but of why? He didn't want to scare her, which seemed the only thing possible with monsters like himself. His face immediately went back being emotionless."You don't seem to be the easily scared. Coming? You have explaining to do. Don't worry, I do too."He was a man of few words. He hadn't explained himself since he lost his lover when he was a mortal of almost eighteen. Stuck at eighteen, he hated remembering her. He'd have been long gone from this world by now, replaced by something better. But instead, his living hit a concrete wall, that not only preserved him forever, but changed his look at all. He hated love, yes that was a way to draw victims, but it still meant nothing to him. Once a love like what he had had hit him, nothing seemed the same. He longed for it once more, but only subconsciously. Straight forward, he'd be the first to stop all conversation that had to do with love.
He wasn't incapable, he just had to learn again. And he feared he was already growing attached. He stopped turning around, he gave a small smile. He hoped that possibly they'd come to be friends, she had his protection whether or not she realized it. If she decided to leave now, he'd still find her tomorrow. [/center]

She liked hearing his laughter -- and it sounded as though he hasn't laugh for a very long time. Ah well, she thought, a little practice could easily fix that. She herself can't remember the last time she had laughed either, what with her family drama. She leaned back on the seat, one hand still clutching the door just in case her body decided to fly off again. She close her eyes, wondering. A few weeks ago, Alisha wouldn't have gone into a car with a stranger who drove like he was possessed by some demon. But a few weeks ago, Alisha didn't want to run away from her family every chance she could.
Alisha smiled a little at his response and calmly commented, "You know, you should consider being in theater. It's a much better pastime than giving people heart attacks."
She heard the beach before seeing it. Having a wolf's ears could come handy sometimes, like now. She opened the door, and stood outside, and heaved a sigh of relief. There weren't many cars, and the beach won't be crowded. She hated crowded beaches, it seemed as though the only reason people came to the beach was to make a fool of themselves. There should be an option in which you can alternate between a crowded beach, and a clear beach.
Alec got out from the car, and disappeared, appearing back on the path. Normally, she would have said that he teleported, if not for that slight breeze she felt as he ran past her. "Ha!" she exclaimed triumphantly, looking smug. "I knew I wasn't wrong!" She continued smirking, hands on her hips.
A stronger breeze rushed past, and she wondered whether it was going to rain. She missed rain -- the clouds had not opened up since Elias disappeared. Her hands dropped, thinking about him spoiled her mood effectively. She shook her head, and smiled up at Alec. There is no use killing yourself over this, she told herself sternly. She closed the car door, and went to join Alec, taking her scrunchie off to let her hair down.
