Anissa;;Gyder nissa continued walking, the clouds overhead continuing to remind her that a possibility of rain was high. Her phone was dead, and yet again, like every thursday on a week, she was stuck in the woods. Thursdays were always a mixed day for her, the day before the end, and the day before the beginning of another day. She ignored the noises around her, she knew others were there, and like always, her hunched form showed defense. She was a very fast runner, most think going fifteen miles per hour is fast, her run of two miles was of twenty five, and her spring was thirty in a seventy yard dash.
She felt a small tap on her arm and jerked her head towards it, her hoodie held a raindrop. She watches as it trickled down the side and splashed to the ground. The silver shimmer of it catching her eye, she looked up as she saw more rain drops silently fall. The wind gave a rush, and a noise like an army of rustling bags made its way to her ears. She quickly moved from the path and carried on walking on the right side.
Her past was a confusing one, love, family, everything, it was all gone. Had she hope? Possibly. The Anissa Gyder she was before, was now a more defensive and quick to snap back at any intrusions. Only people similar to her really caught her attention, sometimes opposites did. But the obnoxious and time wasting, hopeless cause for them to try and talk. She's answer shortly, and find a way to escape. She sat down on a stump, her eyes of green flickered as the moon escaped from behind a cloud and beamed into her eyes. She felt the rain fall faster, but it wasn't heavy. From how the air smelled, it would be a light and quick shower. The trees rustled again, she pulled her hoodie closer to her, and put her hood up.[/ul][/blockquote]

Sicarius walked through the forests as the rain increased intentsity. It seemed like he was always walking somewhere. He rarely knew where or when he would get there. But it never really mattered to him.
He decided to sit down underneath a tree and rest. He sat on the cold earth and found himself staring into space. He set down his weathered and worn six string next to him. He loved the rain, it was soothing and somewhat comforting now. He use to hate the rain for its abilities to ruin one's day but he know understood that it patiently waited for its time and so must he. He made a slow motion toward his guitar and began to gently pluck is silver strings.
He chose to play a slow ballad style melody and began to hum. Not taking notice of the wind nor the rain that was moving on around him. Humming to himself he drifted into memories of his long travels.

Anissa;;Gyder nissa entertained thoughts of the rain stopping so she could go back to her dorm on campus. She was just to the part where she could take off running when a tune caught her attention, a ways down the path to her right, a boy. Well, a teenager was sitting. She examined, a tree, a guitar. She cocked her head to the side and stood up, creeping toward him. She removed her hood and sat down a ways away. She sat still, not a muscle twitch, her breathing rythmic. She was, as planned, under the shelter of the same tree.
She knew he had not noticed her yet, she listened. She closed her eyes, the tune, and he hummed? She opened her eyes and leaned forward supporting her head with her hand, her elbow located on her thigh. She drummed her fingers on her chin, gently, her eyes examining his complete unawareness. She smirked, her white teeth showing, it was funny to her how easy it was to go unnoticed. She cleared her throat, her voice soft. "Nice tune....along with the guitar. It must be used a lot."She smiled a little and looked away. The once sheltering tree, becoming a safety zone for her stare. She stared at the trunk, it was always a question to her why she looked away after speaking. Well, she only did that with strangers. She twisted a strand of her hair around her finger. She smirked again looking down, how funny she was. Sometimes, she couldn't help but laugh at herself.[/ul][/blockquote]

Sicarius stopped plucking at his strings and turned at the newly revealed character near him. It startled him how unaware of her he really was untill she made herself known. He paused before responding and looked at her. She wasn't staring at him but at the tree which confused him. She had stunning looks and it took Sicarius a second to think of what to say.
Sicarius managed to stumble out "It has seen its share of tunes." Sicarius wanted him slap himself for not being able to think of anything better to say. He tryed to manage a smile. It came out more looking like an arrogant smirk. He shivered subconsiously and continued to look at her.
"I have to ask, How did you sneak up on me like that? Usually I can at least hear people before they come within 5 feet of me." This was true of course, but not entirely truthful that his humanoid form could do this.

Anissa;;Gyder nissa giggled slightly, she looked at him. Her eyes meeting his, she stood up without so much as a noise. She turned, silently, gracefully. She spread her arms, she sat back down. No noise. She giggled again, he seemed confused. She stood up, now, making intentional noise, and moved closer to him. "I am quite sure, you being a shifter yourself, would know how to not make noise? Or, are you like those shifters that are quite loud like the regular humanoids... Either way, I did it by sharpened skills. Its what happens when you know a lot of Vampires. And no, they don't bite mixed blood....usually. Oh, may I point out that it is raining, and you were zoned into playing the guitar....Those could have contributed to your, hmm, obliviousness? She rested her head once more upon her palm, her elbow yet again dug gently into her thigh. He seemed speechless and she smiled once more showing her white teeth and looked away. She hadn't meant to put him on the spot. She really hoped he wasn't the slow or dumb type of teen boys who stuttered over EVERY word. She controlled the impulse to roll her eyes and sigh, instead she kept the peaceful vibe going. She sighed, it was quite quiet, but she was sure he heard it. That is, if he heard as well as he claimed. [/ul][/blockquote]

[glow=red,2,300]Sicarius[/glow] broke out of his daze and chuckeled at the comment. He was already in a good mood so he found the humor in the comment, or invented humor in the comment. He noticed her smile and knew he hadn't made a complete fool of himself, yet.
This time Sicarius was able to speak normally and say "Good point, and you are correct about me being a shifter. In my defense really I have only been doing this for a year, I was a late starter."
Sicarius ran is hand through his hair like he usually did when he was nervous. He felt the cold dampness and it seemed to chill his fingers. He sat staring into the rain for a few seconds before asking "If you don't mind me asking, what is someone like you doing out on a grey and rainy day?" She was puzzling him, he never saw people just sitting in the rain the way he did.

Anissa;;Gyder nissa shot him a smile, her eyes looking into his. She listened to his explaination and reached out, knocking a strand of hair back as it was about to fall. She set her hand back on her knee and listened, shrugging at his question. Someone like her? she smiled radiantly again, twas' a quick compliment.
"Someone like me, hmm? Well let's just say, considering I was not a late starter..." she teased him a little, her expression a little flirtatious. "That I can endure a lot of the elements of mother nature, as I am sure, you can too. For your warmth, unlike humans, has resisted most of the cold. Are you new around these parts? Or have I never had the benefit of meeting you before?" She smirked, no, she was wrong about him. He was not a stuttering idiot, and wouldn't be one. He was safe to be friends with, to get to know. Surprisingly, she was greatful. He seemed a lot like her, some what shy, mysterious, and alone. Alas, she didn't always act this way, he just seemed the approachable type. She'd find out soon enough if he was, by the way he reacted to multiple circumstances. [glow=red,2,300] Sicarius[/glow]smiled and was rensured by her smiling. She was either very friendly or very flirtacious, he couldn't decide which. Yet, either one was fine by him. He sensed her warmth and it felt comforting in such a cold atmosphere. She defiantly didn't seem to belong here. He chuckeled as he set his guitar to the side and said.
"To answer your question, yes I am new here. I was...... Let's just say I have no real home anymore." He tried to hide the depression of his thoughts with a calm demeanor and a general attiude of not caring, but he had a fleeting suspision that it was a misserable attempt at such. "And as to the benfit of meeting me, I would withhold that judgement, you know me not by my personality yet."
Why did I just say that? She was trying to be nice; Sicarius knew that it had come off very rude and immediatly regretted saying it but previous expirences had taught me to think things through and test things.

Anissa;;Gyder nissa smiled again she nodded at his first statement. She noticed his change in personality, a bit more defensive? She cocked her head, as if apologizing for her previous statement. When he was done she began to speak. "I assure you sir I didn't mean that as an insult, yes of course, personality....I'm sorry. G'day then."She stood up and put her hood on walking off. Twas' no point to keep talking, she needed to get home anyway. Sensative people were not her type either. She wasn't quite sure if walking off was the best thing to do, she hoped he would follow but had a feeling he wouldn't. He would probably just beat himself up mentally and move on.
Either way, she continued to walk. It bothered her more than it should have, but she just refused to give in and walk back. She didn't need him, he was just another face. She pulled her hoodie closer around her, the wind blasting furiously again. The darker it got, the more traffic of the woods. Werewolves, Vampires, god knows what else. Demons too, ghosts as well. She looked down right before she took another step, a werewolf track. A vampire track right behind it, both imbeded into the ground. Mud had accumulated inside of the grooves of each heel. And water danced as the raindrops hit, it struck reality to her. Never scared, but, she knew she was on the wrong side of the woods at that time. [/ul][/blockquote]

[glow=red,2,300]Sicarius[/glow] immediatly stood up and strapped his guitar back on and walked to catch up to the girl at a faster pace than normal. Something about her made him want to apolgize. He had met so many people that he was rude to and did not care. He had even beaten a man to an inch of his life without a second thought of pity. He finally caught up to ear shot and mustered the right words this time.
Almost breathlessly he said "I'm...I'm sorry......" He honestly meant this, not a feeble 2 word phrase used to comfort someone but this time he actually meant this. Something about it seemed to resonate in his whole body.
The rain was falling on his jet black hair making it longer and unstraightened. His clothes became very heavy with rain. The rain drops' sound as it hit the hollow body of the guitar seemed to play a soundtrack to this whole scene. "I really really did not mean to sound like a...... I'm sorry." His wet hair seemed to contrast so strongly against his now very blue eyes.

Anissa;;Gyder nissa looked at him as he said sorry, but she continued to walk. She smiled, as the apology was accepted. He kept surprising her, he acted unaffected at times, and at others he realized his mistake. She looked at him again, he was pretty cute now, innocently apologizing to someone he didn't know? She smirked, his hair now becoming slicked down, she liked his hair, and the style of it.
"If I were you I wouldn't worry myself over apologizing to a stranger. I mean if you don't go to the school in these parts, then most likely we won't meet again. My name is Anissa, Anissa Gyder. The last name is pronounced like Guy-der. But I must admit, I hope we do meet again." She looked at him, her green eyes seeming to sparkle her actual interest. He was a strange one, as was she. Neither one of them gave much away, she couldn't decide whether he wanted to be understood or didn't. Whether he was looking for friends or wasn't. She decided either way he didn't care. Just like her, they were loners. They really souly accepted it.[/blockquote][/ul]

Relief struck Sicarius like a ton of bricks. He was puzzeled by his own actions. He hardly cared about anything these days, yet something made him want to pay attention. He smiled as the rain streaked down his face from his slicked down hair now completling covering his left eye. He felt it trickle down his face and suddenly lost focus of the present world. Slipping into a vision his forced his way back ignoring the warning he had just been issued.
"As do I, and to be polite my name is Sicarius, Sicarius Carminis but feel free to call me anything Latin names are always a pain." He smirked as he forced his mind to stay focused on the present and not slipping back into visions. "And when you say school, you mean?"
He noticed the sparkle in her green eyes and smirked. He goped he had fixed his previous mistake and hoped he would not make it again.

Anissa;;Gyder nissa continued to walk, her hoodie protecting her hair against the rain. She looked at him as he spoke, she quickly took hold of his hand a shook it, lightly. Unlike a male who shakes hands firmly, she always shook hands quickly and lightly. She let go after a quick shake and continued to walk, she began to answer his question.
Well school is more like, classes, some are for the humans or other races and then some like shifting or something to that affect are for the shifters. Us. I still need to sign up for classes, sadly. But between the ages of 13 or 14 through 16 or 17 you are in the school. Once 17 or 18, I don't know which, you can graduate...They just want us younger ones, to have time to keep out of trouble.....That's what I meant about school." She said it so confidently that it seemed silly for her to have doubted the ages, but alas' she was not THAT sure. She looked at the road ahead, then across that was a blank field, usually for soccer or some game. Past that was the neighborhood, she stopped before the road. She turned around to look at him. "You stay over there? I suppose obviously you don't stay in the school. But the school is still over that way..." [/ul][/blockquote]

He smirked at her explination of school. He knew what school was but it had surprised him to hear that Shifters attended it. He had only known that it was a human tradtion to attend them. Humans had always irratated him with their tradtions and ignorant ways. How blind they were to the real world around them. How absorbed they were into their dillusions of the world and how secluded they had become from it. But he decieded to not mention this, unsure about her feelings toward humans.
"Sounds familar, but no I don't live anywhere around here. I don't really don't live anywhere for more than a day. I an constantly on the move, I have no need to." Nor the desire to anymore, he thought to himself. "I don't usually see a point to staying in one area to long."
His visions were starting to slip into his consiousness once again. He forced them out but knew it must be a warning. He noticed the rain begin to drop faster and the clouds darken. He looked toward the sky and saw the ligntning begin to form in the clouds.

Anissa;;Gyder nissa looked at him as he proclaimed he didn't live anywhere. He was stranger and stranger by the minute, and yet, he was here but lived nowhere? It didn't make much sense to her.
"You don't live....anywhere? Haha. How is that possible, you just roam from kingdom to kingdom I find that hard to believe, some races hate shifters. I find it hard you could just, wander...." She decided to let it go, she crossed the street and began to walk through the empty field across from him. She looked back at him, but continued to walk. As much as possible, she pretended it was just a meeting. It seemed odd to her that someone would travel, without ever staying in one spot, a specific amount. She shook her head as she continued to walk, no one but no one could match his oddness to anyone she knew. He was special that way she guessed.[/ul][/blockquote]
